Using Prentis’s Work in my Own Programs
Can I use Prentis’s work or TEI principles and practices in my own programs?
We are fine with TEI and Prentis’ work being shared and discussed in an academic environment, social justice and community organizations as a supplement to an established course or workshop. All work must be appropriately attributed and there should be no implication that Prentis or TEI is endorsing your programming. We appreciate you only using videos that you find publicly on our website, or the instagram of Prentis and TEI. If you are enrolled in the Self-guided Course, please do not share any videos or materials. Check out these resources and practices.
Can I teach the embodiment practices that I’ve experienced in TEI programs or witnessed at TEI events?
These teachings come out of many years of embodied practice and study and we know it is compelling to try to utilize these practices with your communities. We ask that you do not teach any of the practices yourself. Feel free to utilize the Centering, resilience and gratitude practices from our website – they are often helpful prompts to develop connection and belonging with your teams and we welcome you to pass those along, please cite our work at The Embodiment Institute. Thank you in advance for honoring the lineage and study of this work.
Can I use videos of Prentis work?
You are welcome to use the videos and other resources found on theembodimentinstitute.org website to share with your organization and community. Please always give proper attribution, and if you are going to include a link, we prefer you using TEI’s website as the source.
