Justin Shepherd

Operations Director

Justin Shepherd is the Operations Director for Groundwork Project, bringing a decade of experience in global leadership and accounting to the work of embodied transformation. An ethos of compassionate action and awareness, and a belief in our interdependence, animate his approach to individual and organizational growth. Justin is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Burkina Faso 07-09) and the recipient of the 2017 Erling Person Award recognizing his value-based leadership at H&M, where he most recently headed up the Global Incident Coordinator Group from Edinburgh, Scotland. Justin joins Groundwork Project as a departure from previous corporate roles, intent to explore institutional practices that are decolonized & emergent and that center healing and justice for marginalized bodies. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance from Loyola University Chicago and a CPA certification.
