Anesu Nyatanga

Program Coordinator

Anesu Nyatanga (he/him) is a Black Trans man living in the bustling and beautiful Brooklyn with roots in Texas and Zimbabwe. His work is inspired by the personal value of seeing love & liberation as ongoing, actionable commitments to each other and the world. As a self-described process-nerd, Anesu believes that “how we do the work,” is the place to infuse our values and is the integral part of cultivating our liberation. It’s a part of his liberatory dream to work towards cultivating embodiment, healing, and social justice with individuals committed to the same and he is honored to work with the Embodiment Institute as the Program Coordinator. When Anesu is not at his desk, he loves to cook & bake big bread and meals, bike & lift weights, or laugh & lovingly argue with his loved ones.
